The Talking Picture Book will provide teachers and parents with a simple to use environment for creating talking educational interactive picture presentations. Add the dimensions of sight and sound to the teaching of phonics, letters and vocabulary. Simply paste, copy, import or scan a picture file into the picture book and type a definition or paragraph that's appropriate for the picture.

Answer: A is for Apple
Definition: This is an apple. Apples are good to eat. I like apples.
The student must click on the big alphabet blocks or type the correct letter to answer. After the student answers, "The Talking Picture Book" will automatically interact with the student providing the above dialog and instruction.
Each picture book can hold an unlimited number of pictures and definitions. A picture book is really a database of external pictures and sound that will not encumber the performance of the program. Trade books with your friends and colleagues or buy new ones from us. You can use pictures from your scrap book, hard drive or disk sets. This program also provides users with a simple to use scanning interface. Select Scan Picture... from the Popup menu and watch the picture automatically be scanned in and sized to the picture frame.
This program will provide teachers with an invaluable teaching tool. Speech is provided by Apple's new MacinTalk Pro/ PlainTalk or the old MacinTalk 1.5. This program requires at least a13 inch color monitor and 2 megs of RAM.
This On-line version is fully working except that the size of each picture book is limited. Even though, users can make as many picture books as you like.
